FED: Bootscooters Tamworth bound
About 6,500 bootscooters will strut their stuff for the national line dancing championship
at Tamworth next month as all eyes turn to the country music capital.
Decked out in boots, jeans, buckles and colourful shirts; dancers will travel from
all over the world including pre-schoolers and senior citizens aged in their nineties.
Organiser JOE MACMANAMON says the competition is tough with eight days of dance workshops,
social dancing and championships from 8am through to midnight each day.
The championships will be staged from January 22-30 at Calrossy Private School in conjunction
with the country music festival.
