NSW: NSW holiday road toll jumps to seven
Police say the NSW holiday road toll has jumped to seven following four fatalities overnight.
An 18-year-old man was killed when his car struck a tree on Logans Crossing Road at
Laurieton near port Macquarie about 2am (AEDT) today.
His passenger received minor injuries.
In a separate incident, a 19-year-old man was killed and two other men injured in a
crash near Crookwell in the state's southwest.
Police say the driver swerved to avoid a wheelie bin in the middle of the street and
the car overturned.
One man, aged in his early 20s suffered head and spinal injuries and was taken to Goulburn
Base Hospital.
The other, also aged in his 20s suffered minor injuries and has been released from hospital.
Police say there've been two other fatalities on the state's roads overnight but details
