FED: Doctor, heal thyself
A national survey's found just over a third of general practitioners have their own GP.
The findings have prompted calls from the Australian Medical Association for doctorsto put more value on their own health and to have a little more faith in their colleagues.
A study commissioned by the weekly GPs newspaper, Australian Doctor, reveals only 39per cent of GPs have their own doctor.
The rest treat themselves, refer themselves to specialists or just don't go to the doctor.
New South Wales AMA medical director ROBYN NAPIER says the results of the study showdoctors don't value their own health highly enough.
